Christy (Wagner) Hunt

.Christy Wagner Hunt, 76, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma.

Christy was a devoted member of White Mills Baptist Church and lived her life grounded in her faith, strength and conviction. She worked as a physical therapist assistant, a role that reflected her desire to help and care for others. Outside of work, she found joy in tackling projects around her home, always keeping herself busy and improving the space she loved.

Known for her boldness and strong opinions, Christy never hesitated to speak her mind. Those who knew best appreciated her honesty, determination and unmistakable presence. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, love for her family and a life lived unapologetically on her own terms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth & Geraldine Wagner; her brothers, Ken Wagner, Ricky Wagner; her grandson, Dakota Ritchie and her best friend, Steve Delk.

She is survived by her three daughters, Hallie (Darrin) Polston, Stefany Myers, Lindsey (Jeremy) McKenzie; her grandchildren, Tyler (Kevin) Polston, Janna Polston, Hayden (Tori) Polston, Mason Polston, Carson Polston, Preston Myers, Shelby (Faith) McKenzie; her great grandchildren, Levi Ritchie, Benny Mattingly, Aiden Naimo, Harper Naimo; two sister-in-laws, Julane Wagner and Mary Lou Wagner.

Christy will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 3:30 PM, Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Ms. Hunt will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the St. Martin Cemetery, Flaherty, KY.
