Brian Eugene Speer

Mr. Brian Eugene Speer, age 63, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Harrison County Hospital, in Corydon, IN. Brian was born in Louisville, KY, on March 1, 1963, the son of Maurice Eugene and Judith Ann (Krages) Speer, who both preceded him in death. Brian was a member of the Local 502 Pipefitters Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid fan of the New York Giants and the Kentucky Wildcats.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Virginia Brianna Speer; two granddaughters, McKenna and Madeline Speer; three sisters, Stephanie Speer, Amy French and Jamie Young; his aunts and uncles, Bobbye and Jess Mills, Burt and Brenda Krages and Nina McMahon; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Isaiah House, to help support individuals on their journey to sobriety.
