Brenda Faye Morgan, age 80, of Brandenburg, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
She was born on June 24, 1944 in Frymire, KY to the Claude Edgar Dodson and Eva Maw Paine Dodson. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby Blankenship and Dorothy Huffman; brothers, D.W. “George” Dodson and Charlie Dodson.
Brenda worked as a greeter and cashier at the Walmart in Corydon for several years which she always enjoyed. Brenda participated in the Meade County Homemakers. She had many hobbies which included sewing, cross stitching and talking on the phone with her friends. She loved driving around town. Most of all she loved hanging out with her favorite daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Pete) Claus of Brandenburg, KY; nephew, David (Patty) Huffman of Brandenburg, KY and niece, Meda Brown of Webster, KY.
Visitation will be held at Bruington- Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 11:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. from the Chapel of the Funeral Home with Pastor Seth Miller officiating with burial to follow in Raymond Baptist Church Cemetery in Brandenburg, KY.
