Blanche Carolyn "Tootsie" (Richardson) Gregory

Mrs. Blanche “Tootsie” Gregory, born on June 17, 1943, in Louisville, KY, gained her wings on December 29, 2025, at the age of 82.  She was the loving wife of 62 years of David Gregory, who survives her, in Battletown, KY.  Tootsie is also survived by her children Pamela Gregory of Sonora, KY, and James Gregory and his wife, Gina of Brandenburg, KY.  She leaves behind five grandchildren, Jessica, Dylan, Nolan, Miranda, and Jarrett; five great grandchildren, Peyton, Owen, Levi, Axl, Thomas, and an abundance of friends and adopted family.    

     Tootsie was a beloved member of the community, often referred to as “Mammy” by everyone she knew.  She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, love, big hugs, and full bellies.

     In lieu of a funeral, the family has decided to have a celebration of life to honor the life and memory of Mammy.  Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
