Bart Dewayne Miller

Bart Dewayne Miller, age 60, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at his residence with his family by his side.

He was born on August 14, 1966, in Hardinsburg, KY, son of the late Kenny Miller and Marlene Huffines Jones. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, F.J. Miller; and his step-father, Ickey Jones.

Bart worked for Tyson Foods in Corydon, IN, for 31 years. He enjoyed being outside, especially if it involved working in his yard, and loved the sunshine. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan and cheered for the Cats every chance he could. Above all else, Bart adored his family. He was a devoted father, brother, son, uncle, and friend to many, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Richard Dewayne Miller and Keith Miller, both of Ekron; mother-in-law, Frances Board; sister-in-law, Crystal Board; brother, Doug (Maria) Miller of Brandenburg, KY; 2 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 4-8:00 EDT and will continue Sunday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Robert Young officiating. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson cemetery next to his wife, F.J.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the funeral home to assist the family at this time.
