As Meade County High School fall sports prepare to kickoff, there are some new policies fans should be aware of

Meade County High School fall sports teams will be having their home openers over the next several weeks. With the kickoffs to the various teams' 2025 season, there are some new policies that fans need to be aware of before attending Green Wave home games/matches that are very different from seasons past.


Ticket purchases will only be available cashless:

All athletic events will now use GoFan for ticket purchases. Cash will no longer be accepted at the gate. Credit or debit cards can be used at entry, or you can purchase tickets in advance through the GoFan app or website found at the link below.


8th grade and younger must be accompanied by adult:

All students 8th grade or younger must be accompanied by an adult to enter any athletic event. Students in this age group without an adult will be turned away at the gate.


The Lady Wave soccer team will have their home opener on Wednesday, August 13 against Oldham County. The JV match will start at 6 pm with the Varsity match following at approximately 7:30 pm.

The Green Wave soccer team will have their home opener on Thursday, Aug 14 against Larue County. The JV match will start at 6 pm with the Varsity match following at approximately 7:30 pm.

The Green Wave football team's season will kickoff on Friday, August 22, but their first three games are away. Their home opener will be on Friday, September 12 at 7:30 pm.

The Lady Wave Volleyball team's home opener will be on August 25 against Ohio County at 7:30 pm.
