Amy Nicole Hughes

Ms. Amy Nicole Hughes, age 37, of Muldraugh, KY, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at her residence. Amy was born on January 16, 1989, in Louisville.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Joan Samuels; and her grandfather, James Knott. She is survived by her children, John Rylee Hughes, Baylee Grace, Aubree Ann “Beezy”, and Caleb Eugene Reichmuth; her mother, Pam Embry; three sisters, Stacey Torres, Grace Straney, and Geri Young; two brothers, Matthew and Jason Goodwin; her very special friend, Brian Reichmuth; and her Dad, Stanley Straney.

Amy loved her family deeply, especially her children. She was always considered an “Excellent softball Mom” who just loved watching her kids compete. She was also a supervisor for GCE on Ft. Knox post.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Robin Brown officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday.
