Alberta Claycomb

Alberta Butler Claycomb, age 86 of Webster, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in Brandenburg, KY 

She was born on February 8, 1939 in Guston, KY daughter of the late Allie Murray Butler and Mary Beatrice Pike Butler.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Tom Claycomb; and siblings, Linda, Raymond, Emma Lou, Lois, Jerry, and John.

Alberta was a member of Raymond Baptist Church and retired from GE.

She is survived by her children, Angie Parks and Amos (Becky) Claycomb; grandchildren, Tonya, Craig, and Brandon; sisters, Bobbie Cox and Mayme Butler; brother, Larry (Sheila) Butler; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington from 4-8:00 P.M. EST and after 9:00 A.M. EST on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. EST. with Rev. Travis Thomason officiating.  Burial will follow in Raymond Baptist Church Cemetery next to her husband.
