Wilma McHolan

Wilma McHolan, age 86, of Irvington, KY passed away on January 17, 2026 with her family by her side.

She was born on April 9, 1939 in Hardinsburg, KY daughter of the late Ada Lucas and John Lee Lucas. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, William I. McHolan; son, Johnny McHolan; sisters, Lois Lucas, Diane Crawford, and Dorothy Sturgeon; brothers, Felix Sharp, Gene Sharp, Junior Sharp, Willis T. Lucas, and John Wayne Lucas.

Wilma is survived by her children, Billy (Opal) McHolan, Levena E. Loyall, and Samantha G. (Bobby) Higdon; grandchildren, Nikki, Joshua, Jessica, William, Bryce, Courtney, Isaac, Brady, and John; 21 great-grandchildren; and her long time boyfriend, Tom Bockrath.

Visitation will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington, KY on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 11-1:00. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery next to her husband, William.
