Willis Earl Bosley, age 64 of Irvington passed away at home on February 28, 2025.
He was born on March 24, 1960 in Hardinsburg, KY son of the late Alfreda Lawson Bosley and Robert Bosley. Along with his parents, Willis was preceded in death by his brother Lowell Bosley.
Willis was a member of the Irvington United Methodist Church; a member of Irvington Masonic Lodge #868; a Kentucky Colonel; graduate of Breckinridge County High School; and retired as a supervisor from the Meade County Road Department after serving in the Breckinridge County Road Department. He was a great father, and Peepaw. He loved taking his boys out to the farm and hunting, fishing, riding the 4 wheeler, hunting for arrowheads, and anything they wanted to do. He loved living the outdoor life. He may not have shown all his emotions but he loved his family deeply. He was a good brother and son, and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Heather (Abraham) Straney; grandsons, Reed and Ray Straney; sister, Penny Bosley; and brothers, Charles (Jennetta) Bosley, Wayne Bosley, and Neil (Kat) Bosley.
Visitation will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington, KY on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 4-8:00 P.M. EST with a masonic service at 7:00 P.M. EST. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9-11:00 A.M. EST.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 11:00 A.M. EST at the Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor David Buckham officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery next to his mother.
