Wendy Michelle Pike

Miss Wendy Michelle Pike, age 51, of Irvington, KY, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.  Wendy was born August 3, 1972, the daughter of Wendell Franklin and Fannie Ellen (Caudill) Pike.

Wendy was a faithful member of the New River Worship Center, where she was always present and never missed a church service.  She enjoyed camping and fishing and just being outdoors. Wendy lived every day of her life to the fullest, always proclaiming, “This is the day the Lord has made!”

Wendy was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Pike; her grandparents, Arnold and Angeline Pike, and Granville and Nannie Caudill; her aunt, Janice Caudill Meade; and her uncle, Edward Pike.  She is survived by her parents, Wendell and Fannie Pike; her sister-in-law, Kayla Pike; five nieces and nephews, Triston Tyler Pike, Kaden Brian Wayne Pike, Macie Taylor Pike, Jason Daniel Pike, and Ryleigh Paige Pike; eight aunts and uncles, Glenda Faye Caudill Osborne, Pat Caudill Tolson, Gladys Caudill Baca, Nancy Lou (Charles) Caudill Hall, Vernon Gale (Annette) Pike, Diane (Freddy) Pike Baker, Robert (Verse) Pike, and Betty Pike; and a host of cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at New River Worship Center, 179 Blair Hill Lane, Elizabethtown, KY, with Rev. Michael Willingham and Pastor Chuck Hall officiating.  Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, KY at 12:30 PM.  Visitation will be held at the church from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid with expenses.
