Thomas Franklin "Tommy" Goins

Mr. Thomas Franklin “Tommy” Goins, age 45, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at his residence.  Tommy was born on May 15, 1980.  He loved to fish and hunt, as well as searching for unique rocks and arrowheads while always walking.  He was also a car guy and loved to tinker with vehicles.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Goins; his grandparents, William and Wanda Jean Goins, Charles Carwile and Gerda Ammons; and his uncle, Kevin Goins.  He is survived by his wife, Amber Goins; his son, Zackery Goins; two step sons, Curtis and Wesley O’Banion; his mother, Judy Phiefer; four siblings, Tracy Parker, Troy Dale Dupin, Tammy Nash, and Andrew Goins; his step mother, Cindy Goins; his step brother, Shayne Ross; his special uncle who was more like a brother, Larry Goins; and several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A public visitation will be held at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
