Mrs. Rose Etta Ditto, age 84, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Rose Etta was born August 5, 1940, the daughter of Charles Alton and Mary Adelia (Ritchie) Whelan.
Rose Etta graduated from Meade County High School in1958 where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. Where you saw her, you always saw her husband. They travelled everywhere together, whether it was too either the kids or grandkids sporting events, trap shoots, or simply to the farm or out to dinner. Rose Etta was infamously known in her family for her “gag gift” of a rubber chicken. It could be Christmas, Bunco club, homemakers club, whatever the event, her rubber chicken always made its appearance.
