Ricky Dale Dupin, age 64, of Irvington, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on July 25, 1959, in Brandenburg, KY, son of the late Charles Dupin and Dempsie Helene Goins Dupin. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Dupin.
Ricky worked as a logger for Horsley Logging, and worked at Lucas Sand and Gravel in Mauckport, IN for some time. He was a frequent customer of the old TNT restaurant in Harned, KY, and you were almost guaranteed to see his smiling face and hear his infamous laugh when you walked through the doors. Ricky had an incredible sense of humor, and thrived on making the people around him happy as much as he could. He loved guns and old cars, but above all else, he loved his family. He was a devoted dad, brother, and papaw, and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Robert) Simmons of Irvington, KY; siblings, Audrey (Vernon) Arms, Penny (Wayne) Robinson, Charlotte (Steve) Wayne, and Charlie Ray (Cathy) Dupin; granddaughter, Brianna Simmons; great-granddaughter, Isabelle Grace Basham; and two grand-pups, Thunder and Lightning.
Cremation has been chosen by the family and Alexander Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the funeral home to assist the family during this time, or to the American Cancer Society (1640 Lyndon Farm Court Suite 104, Louisville, KY 40223)
