Phillip Wesley Adams

Mr. Phillip Wesley Adams, age 80, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at his residence. Phillip was born on April 11, 1945, the son of John William Adams and Rhoda Aleatha (Pack) Adams Floyd.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wayne and James Adams; and his sister, Lena Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Poole Adams; two children, Gary (Bobbi Jo) Poole and Jon Wesley Adams; three grandchildren, Austin Poole, Garett (Jordin) Poole and Kaylie Poole; a great grandson, Gunner Poole; a special niece, Angela Laslie; and a special nephew, Alvin “Ooner” Thompson, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Revs. Tom Bridge and Rick Judd officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hosparus of Central Kentucky or to New Highland Baptist Church Cemetery.
