Philip Dale Holtzclaw

  Mr. Philip D. Holtzclaw, age 63, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN.  Phil was born on August 5, 1961, the son of Etheridge Vernon Holtzclaw and Roxie Sue Adwell.  He always loved the outdoors and especially liked to fish, hunt and golf.

      Phil was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Charles Holtzclaw.  He is survived by three sons, Matt, Dylan, and Alec Holtzclaw; four grandchildren, Aliyah, Hailey, Kinsley, and Skylar Holtzclaw; and his niece, Olivia Holtzclaw Carnes.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. William “Happy” Chandler officiating.  Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, and from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
