Patricia Ellen "Pat" Dunn

Patricia Ellen “Pat” Burrell Dunn, age 70, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 28, 1955, in Brandenburg, KY, daughter of the late William Nathan Burrell and Ida May Burrell.

Pat spent her life in service to others. She retired from Civil Service after working as a clerk for some time, and she spent her later years as a caregiver for numerous friends and family members, including her mother. She was a faithful and active member of the North Hardin Christian Church and volunteered as much as she could. Whether it was singing at Vacation Bible School, cheering at the Playground Olympics, serving and cleaning at fellowship dinners, or simply lending a helping hand, Pat was there with a smile on her face. She had a warm laugh, gave the tightest hugs, and always went out of her way to make sure that you felt special. She loved to explore, crochet, and play Rook, and she was a “killer Yahtzee player who never lost a game”. Above all else, Pat adored her family and was proud beyond words. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.

She is survived by her son, Robert Francis Dunn; siblings, Anita (Gary) Musick and John Burrell; nieces, Lindsey Musick and Carrie (Ben) Hutchins; great-nephew, Bryce Musick; and a host of friends that loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Ron Hockman officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the funeral home to assist the family during this time.
