Meade County Sheriff's Office issues warrants for two of the counterfeiters

The Meade County Sheriff's Office has identified two suspects of the subjects responsible for the counterfeit $100 bills that have been used at local businesses. They issued the following statement:

"Detectives began investigating a counterfeit operation on March 26th, 2024, that affected businesses across the county. On Thursday, March 28th, 2024, Detectives from the Meade County Sheriff’s Office along with Brandenburg PD were able to identify two of the subjects involved in passing counterfeit $100 bills. The Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for their arrest on Thursday and are anticipating their capture. A statewide alert has been issued for the wanted subjects and neighboring states have been asked to attempt to locate the subjects in their van. The wanted subjects are Latrell Doss and Alize Christian out of Chicago, Illinois. The subjects’ photographs are below. Detectives are continuing to attempt to identify the other two individuals and will update the community when more information is available. The subjects are traveling in a white Chrysler Town and Country minivan. They are believed to have left the Meade County area.
