Lourdes Victoria (Bohanan) Neal

Mrs. Lourdes Victoria Neal, age 85, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Neal was born in Manila, Philippines, on January 31, 1940, the daughter of Edward and Fe (Pacheco) Bohanan. 

As a toddler, Lourdes had her life threatened but survived the Japanese occupation of the Philippines at the beginning of World War II. This experience, along with her family heritage of service prompted Lourdes to join the United States Navy. She was a woman of unwavering faith and her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Lourdes had a love for making pottery and she also enjoyed traveling with her family.

Lourdes was preceded in death by her parents and her infant daughter, Michelle Neal. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 63 years, Charles Neal; two sons, Robert Neal and Daniel Neal; her granddaughter, Danielle Victoria Richardson; and her sister, Marlita Gonzales.

In honoring Mrs. Neal’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
