Louise (Coghill) Monchilovich

Mrs. Louise Coghill Monchilovich, age 87, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Beehive Assisted Living in Louisville, KY.  Louise was born on December 7, 1938, the daughter of Joseph Nimrod and Annie Marie (Pack) Coghill.


Louise loved to cook for and take care of her children.  She spent countless hours keeping her house spotless for all to enjoy.  Her most special times were spending time with her granddaughter and siblings, while drinking a hot, black cup of coffee.


Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Don Monchilovich; her beloved daughter, Tammy; and her five siblings, Mary Catherine Hughes, Merrill Wagner, Joe and James Coghill, and Jeanette Penn.  She is survived by two sons, Mike and his wife, Carrie, and Donald Monchilovich; her granddaughter, Tara; two brothers, Charles and Frank Coghill; and two sisters, Esther Sipes, and Mildred Chambers.


Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. William “Happy” Chandler officiating.  Burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
