Linda (Board) Skidmore

Linda R. Board Skidmore, 79, formerly of Flaherty, KY passed away Monday, January 6, 2024 at the Signature of North Hardin, Radcliff, KY.

Linda's love for gardening was surpassed only by her family. Her gardens were a testament to her artistry, each bloom a stroke of her love for the natural world.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Skidmore; a son, Tony Hall; her parents, Buster & Elsie Board; three siblings, Rachel Floyd, Larry Board, and Curtis Board.

Survivors include her four children, Vicki Hughes (Luke), Kim Whelan (Eddie), David Hall (Tiffany), Jamie Hall (Heather); 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; her former husband, Joseph Hall; four siblings, Donnie Board, Debbie Currell, Rodney Board, Jerry Board; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Sunday, January 12, 2025 and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Monday, January 13, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Skidmore will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 13, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
