Juanita Corder Pegram Napper, age 78, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 15, 1945 in Louisville, KY, daughter of the late James Monroe Corder and Thelma Florence Miller. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Frances Case; two brothers, William Corder and Robert Miller; grandson, Casey James Pegram; and her first husband, John Pegram, Jr.
Juanita had the brightest smile and a massive heart. She was a hard worker and built a beautiful life and home for her children and grandchildren. She was the #1 member of the Lay’s potato chip fan club, enjoyed sitting on the porch swing in the sunshine, and was an incredible cook known for her fried chicken and “Juanita Burgers” from her time working at KingFish. Above all else, Juanita was very selfless. She loved the Lord and proved it through her words and actions every single day. She showed her faith through everything she did, and she made sure that everyone around her knew she loved her Savior. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Wayne Napper; children, Cathy Y. (Phil) Snyder of Hardinsburg, KY, Mark L. (Jennifer) Pegram and Johnathon (Gena) Pegram, both of Battletown, KY, and Leslie G. (Robert) Weaver and Andrea L. Pegram, both of Vine Grove, KY; brother, Butch Carter (Reba) Corder of Austin, TX; brother-in-law, Bubby Case of Louisville, KY; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 12:00- 8:00 P.M. EST and on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. EST.
Funeral Services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. EST with Bro. Johnny Embry officiating. Burial will follow in Haynes Cemetery next to her first husband.
