Mr. James R. “Jimmy” Lucas, age 53, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Harrison Healthcare in Corydon, IN. Jimmy was born on December 28, 1970, the son of Drexel Ray and Sue Carol (Kendall) Lucas, Sr. Jimmy loved to spend time outdoors hunting, fishing and mowing grass. He also enjoyed watching horror movies.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Sue Carol Lucas; his brother, Drexel Ray Lucas, Jr.; his uncle, J.E. Kendall; two aunts, Brenda Pierce and Sharon Davidson; and several cousins.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
