It's officially fish fry season; here's everything you need to know locally

Ash Wednesday kicked off the Lenten Season this week and that means its time for Friday night fish fries. And there is no shortage of delicious options in our local area. Here is a breakdown of the need-to-know info for each one:
St. Martin of Tours Fish Fry, Flaherty: Every Friday night from Feb. 20th thru March 27 in the elementary school cafeteria beside the church from 4 pm - 7 pm. Menu includes fish, salmon patty, or fried shrimp with fries/onion rings/or baked potato and cole slaw/green beans/macaroni & cheese. The meal also includes a drink and dessert. $15 - your choice of 2 (salmon patty, fish, 4 shrimp) and two sides. $12 - your choice of one (salmon, fish, 4 shrimp) and two sides. Dine-in or carry out.
Holy Guardian Angel Fish Fry, Irvington: Every Friday night from Feb. 20th thru March 27 in the fellowship hall cafeteria beside the church from 4 pm - 7 pm ET. Menu includes: $15 - fish, fried shrimp or combo dinner with onion rings or tater wedges, hush puppies, cole slaw, dessert, and drink. $10 - small plate with fish, shrimp or cheese pizza. $8 - fish sandwich only. Dine-in or carry out.
St. John Fish Fry, Brandenburg: Every Friday night from Feb. 20th thru March 27 in the gym beside the church from 4 pm - 7 pm. Menu includes: $15 - Two pieces of fish and two sides. $10 - One piece of fish and one side. Sides include: french fries, onion rings, green beans, and cole slaw. All meals include: hush puppies, drink and desert. Dine-in or carry out.
Vine Grove Knights of Columbus Hall Fish Fry, Vine Grove: Every Friday night from Feb. 20th thru March 27 in the KC Hall behind St. Brigid from 4 pm - 7 pm. Menu includes: $18 - fish and three fried shrimp, $16 - two piece fish, $15 six piece shrimp, or $12 one piece fish. All meals include: french fries, cole slaw, hush puppies, green beans, bread, dessert and drink.
$6 kids plate includes grilled cheese, fries, dessert and drink. Dine-in or carry out.
