Fatal wreck in Muldraugh claims life of Louisville man

According to the Kentucky State Police, a single-vehicle fatal collision occurred on Saturday, March 21, at approximately 9:50 AM on US-31W within the city limits of Muldraugh.


Preliminary investigation indicates Dennis J. Perry, 34, of Louisville, was operating a Ford Escape northbound on US-31W when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle departed the roadway and struck the end of a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side on the outside shoulder of the roadway. Perry was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Meade County Coroner.


Trooper Jesse Harp is continuing the investigation. The Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by the Meade County Sheriff’s Office, Meade County EMS, and the Meade County Coroner’s Office.
