Edward Lee Haney

Mr. Edward Lee Haney, age 54, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Norton Hosparus In-patient Unit in Louisville, KY.  Edward was born on January 1, 1971, the son of Chester Edward, Sr. and Julia Fern (Trent) Haney.  He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved to fish and hunt.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Claude and Gola Trent; and his paternal grandparents, Chester and Julia Haney.  He is survived by his brother, Chester (Judy) Haney; two sisters, Cyntha “Cindy” (Chris) Adcock, and Beth (Tommy) Embrey; his aunt, Barbara (Mark) Marquez; two uncles, Anthony and Jeffrey Trent; his special aunt, Nellie Zerbe; two nieces, Haley (Tyler) Arnold and Elizabeth Embrey; his nephew, Justin Embrey; and several cousins and other extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Ruby Allen officiating.  Burial will follow in Marve Bennett Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Sunday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
