With the Primary Election Day set for next Tuesday, May 19, early voting started today. The no-excuse early voting period runs from May 14 through May 16. Early voting this year is taking place at the Meade County Public Library from 8 am to 4 pm at 996 Old Ekron Rd. in Brandenburg.
Next Tuesday, the actual Primary Election Day, will see polls open from 6 am to 6 pm. On May 19, Stuart Pepper Middle School and Flaherty Elementary School will be countywide vote centers where Meade County voters from any precinct are able to vote. Ekron Elementary will be open for only Ekron, Buck Grove and Guston precincts. Payneville Elementary will be open to only Wolf Creek, Concordia and Battletown precincts. Muldraugh City Hall will be open for only Muldraugh precinct voters. The Meade County High School will not have any voting take place there this year due to ongoing construction.
