Darrell Wayne “Kountry” Humphrey, 46, of Brandenburg, KY passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, February 23, 2025.

Kountry poured his passion into building and repairing motorcycles, crafting not just machines but pieces of art that roared to life under his skilled hands. Besides being avid motorcycle rider he took great pride in his Indian heritage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore & Sandra Humphrey; and his grandparents, Marty “Pap” & Sylvia Humphrey.

His survivors include his three daughters, Shelbie Johnson, Sierra Williams, Sybil Wease; his ‘Ol lady, Shannon Sallengs; seven grandchildren, Chloe, Amos, Jasper, Hailee, Augie, Ollie, Paislee & one grandchild on the way, Bradley; one sister, Bridget Asher; his 2nd mother, Teresa Cotton; a best friend, Ronnie; and a host of extended family & friends who were brothers to him.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2025 and from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Humphrey will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
