Claude Everett Greer

Claude Everett Greer, age 82 of Payneville, KY, passed away at home on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

He was born on June 20, 1943 in Payneville, KY son of the late Richard Greer and Mary Louella Miller Greer.  Along with his parents, Claude was preceded in death by his brother, James Richard Greer; sister, Linda Faye Greer; and brother-in-law, Nathaniel Keith.

Claude was a U.S. Army veteran who served from 1965-1966.  He was the owner and operator of Greers Logging Business for 45 years.

He is survived by his sisters, Ruth Ann Keith and Brenda L. (Martin) Thomas; and his nephew, Joseph Josh (Jamie) Greer; stepchildren, Patricia Pierce and Jonathan Logsdon; grandchildren, Jayden Powell and Hayden Powell; best friends, Paul Dean and John Pipes; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 2-4:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Bogard-Greer cemetery, Battletown, KY.
