Charles Owen Wilson

He was born on August 10, 1949 in Hardinsburg, KY, son of the late Thelma Leigh Compton Wilson and Robert Owen Wilson.  Along with his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Carol Skaggs Wilson and brother-in-law, John Foster.

Charles was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Bewleyville Methodist Church. 

He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Foster and Brenda (Jimmy) Gilpin; brother, Joe (Deborah) Wilson; step-children, Tambra (Brandon) Raney and Kenneth (Christy) Vowels; step-grandchildren, Emily and Megan Raney, and Jack and Lily Vowels.

Visitation will be held at Alexander funeral home in Irvington on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 10:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. EDT.

Funeral services will be held at Alexander funeral home on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. EDT, with Bro. Carlie Ross officiating.  Burial will follow in New Highland Cemetery next to his wife.
