Charles James "Chuck" Heavrin

Mr. Charles James “Chuck” Heavrin, age 47, of Tacoma, WA, formerly of Muldraugh, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at his residence. Chuck was born on June 2, 1978, the son of Lawrence David “Sonny” and Katherine Ann (Adkins) Heavrin.


Mr. Heavrin was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Music was his passion in life; whether it was listening to his favorite artists or attending concerts, Chuck always expressed himself through song. He enjoyed many genres of music but particularly enjoyed music by George Jones, George Straight, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Post Malone and Jelly Roll.


Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Heavrin; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Laura Heavrin; and his maternal grandparents, James and Annamarie Adkins. He is survived by his son, Eric Dalton (Caroline) Heavrin; a granddaughter on the way, Zyla Diane Kay Heavrin; his mother, Kathy Heavrin; his sister, Christina Helm; two brothers, John Heavrin and Travis Heavrin; six nieces and nephews, Shane Helm, Shania (D.J.) Spalding, Stephen Heavrin, Bryant Heavin, Alex Heavrin and Arianna Heavrin; his great nephew, Zayn Heavrin; and numerous cousins and friends.


Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky McQuire officiating. Military honors will follow the service at the funeral home.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
