Cecil Myrl Ward

  Mr. Cecil Myrl Ward, 78, of Vine Grove, KY passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at his residence.  He was born on September 18, 1945 the son of Charlie and Lois Irene Shaw Ward.  Mr. Ward served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict; was a member of VFW Post 3987, in Sullivan, MO; and a member of the Brandenburg United Methodist Church.

     He is survived by his wife, Judy Kay Shyrock Ward; three children, Steven (Melissa), Rebecca and Kenneth Dale Ward; one sister, Sue Busking; two brothers, Danny and Kevin Ward; four grandchildren, Bradly, Brenden, Emma and Charlotte Ward; and three great-grandchildren, Bentley, Cole and Tucker Ward.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Pastor Lynn Beach officiating.  Burial, with military honors, will be at a later date at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
