Barbara Pecora

Barbara Judith Harrington Pecora, age 86 of Brandenburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in Elizabethtown, KY.

She was born on September 28, 1938 at the Harrington home at Brandenburg Station, KY daughter of the late, Ethel Catherine Benham Harrington and Harry Edward Harrington.  Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her children, Lisa Kathleen McCubbin and Lindsay Ross Mangin.

Barbara was a 1956 graduate of Meade County High School and was a hairdresser who owned and operated “Barbara’s Beauty Shop” in Brandenburg, for years.  She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Cary Edward Mangin; sisters, Alice (Fairleigh) Yates and Angela Kay Harrington; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 11-1:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Dan Paddock officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethel Methodist Cemetery next to her children.
