William McKinley Goins

    Mr. William McKinley Goins, age 88, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  William was born August 12, 1935, the son of Samuel and Mary Meredith Goins.  He was a member of Ekron Full Gospel Church of God and a farmer.

      William was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Jean; and two sons, Kevin and Jerry Goins.  He is survived by his son, Larry Goins; his grandchildren, Kevin, Brittany, Tommy, Andrew, Justin and Nathan; his brother, Leonard Goins and his wife, Audrey; and several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Eric Bolin officiating.  Burial will follow in Ekron Full Gospel Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday.
