The pastor of a Brandenburg church destroyed during the 1974 tornado was interviewed by great-grandson

Reverend Dr. Billy Marcum and his wife Betty were interviewed by their great-grandson Alex Bates when he was a freshman in high school. Rev. Marcum was the pastor at First Baptist Church in Brandenburg which was destroyed on April 3, 1974 when the F5 tornado struck Brandenburg. Rev. Marcum passed away in 2019.
