Rosalie Ann Cox

Rosalie Ann Cox, age 87, of Irvington, KY, born June 12, 1939, passed away peacefully at her home on June 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Rose was a faithful member of Guston Baptist Church, where she faithfully served for over 50 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Kenneth W. Cox; her children, Debbie Gutermuth (Jeff) of Irvington, Susan Thornhill (Jeffrey) of Irvington, Mike Cox (Trish) of Irvington, Bob Cox (Kim) of Columbus, IN, Donald Cox (Pam) of Elizabethtown, Michael L. Cox (Hope) of Flaherty, and Brian Cox (Anita Clark) of Brandenburg. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. 

She is also survived by her siblings, Sam Calisi (Wanda) of Lodiburg and Janet Smith of Lodiburg.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and John Calisi; her brother, Mick Calisi; and her sisters, Addie Chapman, JoAnn Smith, and Mary Roberts.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the countless lives Rose touched and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her loving spirit will continue to live on through all those who were blessed to know and love her.

Visitation will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington, KY, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 3:00-8:00 P.M. EDT and will continue Thursday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Bobby Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington, KY.
