Rocky Allen Burba

Mr. Rocky Allen Burba, age 67, of Irvington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at his residence. Rocky was born in Louisville, KY, on January 27, 1958, the son of Thomas Andrew and Dorothy Mae (Martin) Burba.

Rocky enjoyed the outdoors, particularly riding horses, going fishing and building race cars. He loved watching all types of sports but was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and the Dallas Cowboys. Most importantly, Rocky was a family man. He cherished every moment at every family gathering that was had.

Rocky was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Kelly Burba; two brothers, Franklin and Tommy; and his sister, Phyllis. He is survived by his two sons, Bobby (Samantha) Prevento and Josh Prevento; six grandchildren, Ryley, Hallie, Karson, Kipton, Kali and Kayda; eight siblings, Lois, Ricky, Helen, Ronnie, Tommy, Vickie, Mike and Brenda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 8:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
