Rick Wyatt

Mr. Rick Wyatt, age 61, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. Rick was born on January 18,1965 in Louisville, KY.

Rick truly had a servant’s heart in every aspect of his life. He served his country in the Army National Guard, and his hometown as an EMT with the Meade County Ambulance Service and as a firefighter with the Meade County Fire Department. He most recently was a supervisor for Legner Energy where he served others not only locally, but also throughout the country during times of storms and natural disasters. Rick also was a longtime member of the Barker Masonic Lodge #129 F.&A.M. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his true love and his best friend, which also happens to be his wife and soul mate, riding their Polaris side by side, and just doing life together.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Wyatt; and his nephew, Kyle Skaggs. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Wyatt; five children, T.C. Wyatt, Les (Charlotte) Clark, Jason (Erin) Clark, Amanda (Jay) Sadler, and Levi Wyatt; his parents, Mary Jo and Ralph Elliott; 15 grandchildren, Hannah, Haylee, Bryce, Tiffany, Justin, Kayla, Jeremy, Blake, Gracie, Gunner, Haley, William, Olivia, Camden, and Baby Beau Hardesty (Bubba’s Little Buddy); his great grandson, Brooks; two sisters, Vicky (Barry) Ross, and April Smitha; his nephew, Ryan Skaggs; and his comrades in arms, Chuck and Amy Haynes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
