Paul Joseph Cummings

Mr. Paul Joseph Cummings, age 77, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Norton Hosparus In-Patient Unit in Louisville, KY.  He was born on January 18, 1948, the son of Ralph and Susie Troutman Cummings.  Paul was a longtime member of the Brandenburg Church of God where he enjoyed serving the Lord and taking care of small maintenance projects within the church.  He was an avid University of Kentucky fan, but his pride and joy was loving on and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Janice Cummings; and four sisters, Helen Thompson, Deloris Davidson, Sue Calvert and Jean Cole.  He is survived by four children, Joey (Amanda) Cummings, Stacy (Amy) Jupin, Julie (Damon) Fortner and Joseph Eric (Ja’net) Cummings; 10 grandchildren, Ali, Ericka, Cory, Greg, Kaysi, Cale, Case, Ory, Victoria, Danielle; 14 great grandchildren, Kylin, Masen, Baylor, Baylen, Braden, Nova, Kayleigh, Karmyn, Piper, Trinity, Preslyn, Taivyn, Finley and Kinsley; and his special nieces and nephews, Rosie Carroll, Matt Wise, and Tyrone Cummings.

In honoring Paul’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
