Mildred Louise Hermes

Mildred “Louise” Hermes, age 82 of Brandenburg, KY passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 in Hardinsburg, KY.

She was born on September 10, 1942 in Fort Knox, KY, daughter of the late Margie Elizabeth Basham Perrine and Paul Perrine.  Along with her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her infant brother, Paul Edward Perrine.

Louise was a lifelong Sunday School Teacher, a member of First Baptist Church in Brandenburg, and a graduate of Meade County High Schools class of 1976.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Joseph “Sonny” Hermes; children, Paul Hermes of Hardinsburg and Paige (Rick) Askins of Hardinsburg; sisters, Marsha Robinson and Peggy Sue Perrine; grandchildren, Wyatt (Holly) Hermes, Ethan (Hannah Roberts) Hermes, Blaine Voyles, and Blake (Lilly) Voyles; great-grandchildren, Cassian and Lilah.

Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 10-11:30 A.M.

Funeral services will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. Seth Miller officiating, burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West, Louisville, KY.
