Mary W. (Biddle) Lucas

Mary W. Lucas, 74, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her residence.

Mary was an avid gardener who enjoyed watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies. Even though she did not comment much, keeping up with her family on Facebook was more than a pastime. The holidays were a particularly special time for Mary. She reveled in the shared meals and the laughter that filled the air when her family gathered.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Biddle; her mother, Laura Mae Gaddie (Gene); and a brother in law, William Sinnett.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Shunk; four sons, David Lee Lucas (Lisa), Dale Lucas (Christal), Willy Lucas (Miae), T.J. Shunk (Lindsey); eight grandchildren, Elena, Danny, Matt, Ryan, Joshua, Sarah, Marissa, Tommy; four great grandchildren (with two on the way), Miya, Eume, Karter, Caleigh; two sisters, Vivian Sinnett, Sharon Smith; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2026 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucas will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2026 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home.
