Lonnie B. Drake

Lonnie B. Drake Jr, 82, of Radcliff, KY passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, Louisville, KY.

Mr. Drake enjoyed attending Stovall United Methodist Church in Radcliff, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of V.F.W. Post #10281, Vine Grove, KY. Lonnie was also an avid golfer, who could often be found on the greens.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Drake; a stepmother, Inge Drake; his mother, Ida Fischer; two sisters, Joyce Steward and Jean Blair.

Mr. Drake is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edwina Drake; one daughter, Gina Barker & her husband, William; one son, Lonnie A. Drake; two granddaughters, Alexa Barker, Olivia Barker; three siblings, Jennie Phillips, Judy Nix (Gene), Fred Drake (Judy); and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home and from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Friday, July 11, 2025 at Stovall United Methodist Church, Radcliff, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Drake will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, July 11, 2025 at Stovall United Methodist Church, Radcliff, KY Pastor Claudia Nava-Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in the Stovall Cemetery.
