Larry Andrew Maysey

Mr. Larry Andrew Maysey, age 66, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at his residence.  Larry was born on November 19,1959 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Everett Lewis, Sr. and Wanda Francine (Guffin) Maysey.  Larry grew up learning to use his hands and began tinkering with anything he could touch.  He could fix anything and became a true “Motorhead”, owning and restoring several classic cars throughout the years.

      Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his Grandma who raised him, Dorothy Jones; and his brother, Lewis Maysey, Jr.  He is survived by his loving wife of almost 42 years, Sheila Maysey; his daughter, Madeline Maysey; his sister, Mary Maysey Basham; his nephew, Eric Basham; his cousin, Jeff Maysey; four brothers-in-law, Ricky Thomas and his wife, Mary, Johnny Thomas, David Thomas, and Ray Thomas and his wife, Millie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews on his wife’s side.

      Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Bethel Methodist Church, with Rev. Dan Paddack officiating.  Burial, will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hager Funeral Home to aid the family with expenses.
