Justin Caudill Montgomery, age 39, of Guston, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving wife, children, and family.
He was born on October 1, 1985, in Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Coleman Lawson Montgomery, Sr. and Rita Caswell Montgomery, and Phyllis “GG” Caudill; adopted grandmother, Mildred “Peanuts” Weinbrener; and his nephew, Lawson Montgomery
Justin, also known as the “pull tab king”, was the kind of friend you were lucky to have in your life. He worked as a welder and manufacturer for some time, and enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, eating seafood, and really loved singing country music. Justin was a family man and adored every person in his life, especially his nieces and nephews. He could make you laugh until you cried, encouraged you when you felt low, and showed unconditional love no matter the circumstance. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, uncle, cousin, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Montgomery; children, Isabella Louise Montgomery and Addison Victoria Montgomery; parents, Coleman Lawson Montgomery, Jr. and Victoria Caudill Montgomery; sister, Julie (Chad) McMullen; brothers, Coleman Lawson (Mandy Schmitzerle) Montgomery, III and Brandon Dean (Shay Patterson) Montgomery; nieces, Virginia (Brayden Crist) Montgomery, Nevaeh Montgomery, Victoria “Sissy” McMullen, and Raelyn Luney; nephews, Dawson Montgomery, Zachary Montgomery, Chris Holzknecht, and Ethan Pennington; bonus sister, Kelsea Luney; many cousins; and his best friends, Willow and Jewels.
Visitation will be held at the Alexander funeral home on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. -8:00 P.M. EDT. and after 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at the Alexander funeral home on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. EDT. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the funeral home to assist the family during this time.
