Helen Emogene Curl

Helen Emogene Curl, age 88, passed away March 27, 2025 at Park Terrace Health Campus in Louisville, KY.  She was born September 28, 1936 in Wolf Creek, KY to the late Paul and Roxie Greer Hardin. 

Helen was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Rhodelia, KY for many years. She worked at Olin Chemical for many years.  She loved gardening, traveling, country music, but most of all, valued time with family and friends. 

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Adron E Curl, brothers, Clarence Hardin, Ed Hardin and Paul Hardin Jr, and sister, Nellie Hardin Bullock.  

She is survived by two sons, Lonnie (Dana) Curl of Brooks, KY, Brad Curl of Guston KY, daughter-in-law, Donna Curl of Brandenburg, KY; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Julie) Curl, Brooks, KY, Miranda Curl Hellman, Brooks, KY, Amy (Jonathan) Waits, Rineyville, KY, Lora (Brad) Kesler, Taylorsville, KY; six great grandchildren, Dalton and Morgan Curl, Clara and Heaton Waits, Cecelia and Miriam Kesler. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at St. Theresa Catholic Church (9245 Rhodelia Road, Payneville KY 40157).  Visitation will be held at St Theresa Catholic Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of mass.  Burial will follow in Parr-Frans Cemetery, Battletown, KY.  Family requests expressions of sympathy go to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 9245 Rhodelia Road, Payneville KY 40157.
