Eric Carson White

Mr. Eric Carson White, age 52, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. Eric was born on September 5, 1972, in Charleston, WV. He grew up in Williams Mountain, WV, where he attended Williams Mountain Advent Church, and was a 1990 graduate of Van High School.

He spent his life working in the oil fields of West Virigina, Colorado, Utah, Texas and Canada. He was a lover of Bluegrass music and a master of many musical instruments.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Ruth Zornes, of Williams Mountain, WV, and Elwood and Belle White of Van, WV.

He is survived by his parents, Carson and Patricia White, of Shelby, NC; his wife, Melinda White; three children, Eric White, Jr., Dewey White, and Arielle White, all of Ekron, KY; his sisters, Stephanie (Tim) Parrish and Teresa (Frederick) LaCroix, both of Shelby, NC; two nephews, Liam and Eliot LaCroix; and a niece, Lillian Parrish.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Bethel Methodist Church, with Rev. Dan Paddack officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
