Mr. David Buren “Bandit” Bishoff, age 68, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday,

April 22, 2025.  David was born on March 3, 1957, the son of Donald and Loetta Bennett Bishoff.

David accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at a young age.  He loved his “Old Weldon” family and friends who all lovingly knew him as Bandit.  He was a former employee of Schardein Mechanical working at Monument Chemical.  David was an avid hunter, who also enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and collecting guns, knives, marbles, arrowheads, coins, and flashlights.

David was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Alpha and Zula Jupin Bishoff, and Sherley “Cowboy” and Opal Jupin Bennett; two brothers, Donald Ray Bishoff, and Benjamin Wesley Bishoff; and his best friend, Roger Lee “Maha” Lawson.  He is survived by his daughter, Katie Bishoff Bennett; three grandchildren, Byren, Arien, and Thira Bennett, all of Brandenburg; three sisters, Barbara Gayle Hardesty, Ekron, KY, Cindy (Stanley) Turner, and Gwen Keys, both of Brandenburg; his brother, Perry Rob (Shirley Shacklette) Bishoff, Brandenburg; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, whom he loved dearly.

In honoring Davey’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.  There will be a private graveside service at Bethel Methodist Cemetery at a later date.
