Crystal Jo (Smith) Jantzen

Mrs. Crystal Jo Jantzen, age 76, of Corydon, IN, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her residence.  Crystal was born March 27, 1948, the daughter of Billy Edward and Barbara Jean Smith.

Crystal was preceded in death by her parents; her step daughter, Angela Bennett; and her brother, Cary Jay Smith.  She is survived by her loving husband, Shelby "Sonny" Jantzen; two sons, Anton (Jennifer) Howard, and Justin (Michele) Howard; two step children, Tim Jantzen, and Susan (Chuck) Oelze; her sister, Janelle Welch; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

In honoring Crystal’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.  A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 149 Lawrence Street Brandenburg, KY.  Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
