Angela Sue Hayes

Angela “Sue” Hayes, age 83 of Brandenburg, KY (formerly of Bowling Green) passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in Corydon, IN.

She was born in Bowling Green, KY on July 31, 1942 daughter of the late Troy Bow and Frieda Odel Magers Bow.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Hayes, II and her grandmother who raised her, “Momma” Eunora Magers.

Sue was a member of Brandenburg United Methodist Church; a graduate of Bowling Green High School (?) where she was a cheerleader; she worked at Stone Law office and later for Human Resources of Social Services where she retired from.  Sue loved to read books, play tennis, and cards…

She is survived by her children, Margery Lynn (Phillip) LeMaster of Tukwilia, WA, Julie Hayes (Mike) Parker of Louisville, KY, and Emily Anne Redman of Brandenburg, KY

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 3-8:00 P.M. at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY and after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the Brandenburg United Methodist Church (215 Broadway St., Brandenburg, KY 40108)

Funeral Services will be held at the Brandenburg United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 12:00 Noon. with Rev. Jason Brock officiating.  Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery next to her husband.
